Killjoy Clips was launched in May of 2006. We are new on the internet video scene relative to most viral video sites. We are based out of West Palm Beach, FL. The land of the rich and richer. I started the site after being inspired by WTF People and Drunken Delight. I use to spend hours at work watchings their video clips. However, I only liked a handful of the clips. So I decided to create my own site, and only put content on their that I liked. Not just fill it with videos, like YouTube. My vision was to have a site that you could start from the first video and watch all of them to the end. YouTube is a great site, but only if you know what you want to see.
Many people have asked where the name Killjoy came from. Well Killjoy use to be my gamer name from back in my college days when we use to play James Bond's Golden Eye on Nintendo 64. The joy I got out of killing my friends just seem to fit, so I was called Killjoy from then on. When I went to create this site, I actually didn't want to use the name Killjoy, but every name I came up with was already taken. So I said screw it, and went with Killjoy Clips.
